Then I also discovered ‘MAURICE’S'….

.. First time I stepped into a ‘Maurices’ was a few years ago when I was visiting
my Daddy- Maurice- in Omaha, NE. Every Monday, he likes to go to Council Bluffs & have some
fun on the Slots. They don’t have those in Omaha, NE..have to go across the bridge..
Anyway, there is a mall nearby, so we checked it out.. “MAURICES”..
Of course he thought it was cool ,cause it was named after him.   I loved the clothing..
They have pants that are  regular & TALLS (works for me), sizes 1-24..
even havesize 11 shoes, for US WELL ENDOWED FEET GIRLS!!
‘Maurices’ has become a tradition when I come home for some
Daughter/Daddy shopping.

Well, I have always said I wished there was a ‘Maurice’s’ in/near Austin. 
Last night, I discovered one in Southpark Meadows…Kesley & Shannon ROCK!
I found out that they have  been there a little over a year. I’ve been to Southpark Meadows
within the past year, never seen them.. BUT THE PLACE IS HUGE…
I celebrated & got myself a cute top & dress!!

Heard of The Cathedral of Junk?  I had heard of it before moving to Austin nearly two years ago, but had never checked it out.  My family came to visit Austin a few weeks back and my parents said it was the top of their “to do and see” list while here after seeing it awhile back on a PBS show called “Rare Visions and Roadside Revelations”.  Basically, it’s a man’s entire back yard that’s filled with “junk” that the owner has made into a very intricate and interesting structure.  You know what they say, one man’s junk is another man’s treasure.  It’s quite interesting, whether you think the guy is nuts or a genius.  It’s located not too far south of Downtown Austin off of S. Congress, and can be fully checked out in a half hour to an hour.  We all had a great time checking it out and it was very fun to reminisce since a lot of the junk items in the structure were toys I remember from my childhood!!! Here’s a few pics we took:
