*Yesterday, I got an email from Gary in Waco. I worked w/ Gary my 1st full time gig in radio @ KCKR Kicker 95.5 (think it’s Oldies now) Waco, TX…must be around 14 years ago. I did 7-Midnights & Gary did Middays/10-3pm.  Gary was the guy who was always into mischief, but a Very Good Guy!!   He’d tease me about being a Yankee w/ a Cornhusker Laugh..of course I had to tease him about being a ‘Cowboy’ whose favorite word was & from the emails I still see is ‘DUDE’!!!  These Days Gary is selling Real Estate in Waco & just celebrated his 13th wedding Anniversary w/ his wife Connie.. THAT ROCKS!!!…also added to the household…Beautiful 2 year old-Erin..THAT ROCKS!!!  It was fantastic to hear from him & hopefully we can get together to catch up in the near future.

I have to admire this swimmer, and not just for his nicely tanned backside.  Just before American Ricky Berens jumped in the pool to race at the World Swimming Championship in Rome Sunday, the entire backside of his suit tore open.  And he swam anyway!  And he won the gold!  Now, that gives “ass-kicking victory” a whole new meaning.

Coming home yesterday, my dinosaur phone decided to take a dump. The outlet on the phone to charge split??? So Ted & I headed to Verizon to check out what to do. Phone couldn’t be fixed..of course..nothing that easy.  So had to figure out a new phone. Wasn’t really up for buying a new phone right now, what to get.. funds..all those factors.
I have to give a HUGE  MULTIPLE “YOU ROCK” to Shavone @ Verizon off Brodie in Sunset Valley. Girlfriend has the patience of a Saint.  I’m not very Phone-Tech Savvy… she walked me through the phones trying to figure out which one I was more comfortable with…also price had a lot to do with it too… She worked things out where the plan we had, which had to change, actually was a better one than what we started with…more minutes… & I decided it’s time to move on to Email/Facebook & all that stuff via phone… No such thing as a device just to make calls anymore. It’s gotta do it all.. LOL…  So I went for the ‘Blackberry Curve’… It’s going to take me a bit…but I’m picking it up pretty decent & it’s only been 24 hours… Of course I say this & I’ll probably lock myself out of the phone or program something I’m not suppose to before the Day is over.. LOL… Good Thing Shavone has ‘Saintly Patience’.. LOL..
…LAST NIGHT I HAD  ’THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE’ I’VE HAD IN A  VERY LONG TIME …HELPFUL, PATIENT, WORKED WITHIN MY SURPRISE BUDGET,  DIDN’T MAKE ME FEEL STUPID…& I KNOW I ASKED A LOT OF STUPID ?SSS… SHAVONE ROCKS!!!!

Suppose to make things that taste sour/or bitter
‘SWEET’ for a few seconds..
Example: Lemons will taste like “Lemonade”
                       Guiness Beer will taste like ‘Chocolate’…
…This find/break through is said to be ‘GREAT’
tasting options for diabetics  to be able to have ‘Sweet’
without hurting their health…Or even Cancer patients to eliminate
the post metallic-chemo taste in their mouth…or just make foods
taste better to you!!!
… The lastest ‘CRAZE’ w/ the ‘Miracle Berry’
are ‘Flavor Tripping Parties’… where you can give
the ‘Miracle Berry’ a run for it’s $$$
