6:00 AM:  Today is payday and we all are rejoicing. Sara says she is really glad because she has only $20 in her bank account. The guys said she should do what the guy from Missouri did and use her remaining dollars to purchase a lottery ticket. Sandy was so upset when his recently purchased lotto ticket wasn’t a winning one, and JB has shifted his gambling focus from the lottery to the crane game to try and win toys for his daughter. The Spurs beat the Mavericks last night, knocking the Mavs out of the NBA Playoffs. Today is no phone zone day; Oprah is asking people to sign a pledge not to text and drive.  Rielle Hunter (John Edwards’ mistress and “baby mama”) was on Oprah yesterday and said that people have the wrong idea of her, and that she is not a gold digger or a home-wrecker.

6:15 AM:  Cassiday got pulled over last night when she left a painting class by THREE cop cars. She was totally freaked out because they surrounded her car, but was relieved to find out they were pulling her over because her car shows up as still stolen in the system. Her car was stolen almost 8 or 9 months ago and was still showing up as stolen when they ran her plates.

Sara shows us a video she made of the “biggest asparagus” in Austin.  Check out her blog for the video—it’s very funny!

6:30 AM: Four things you need to know with Sara. In 90 days Arizona will be enforcing a new law allowing police to ask people at any time for their proof of U.S. Residency. Austin might decide to limit business with and travel to the state because they feel that this new law will create a racial profiling issue. The Rainey neighborhood is changing and the residents aren’t happy with this. There are now drinking, parking problems, and lots of noise due to the new bars and restaurants in the area. The parking lots under I-35 between 6th and 8th streets will be resurfaced. The project, which will cost the city $500,000 was recently approved by city council.  Lance Armstrong announced yesterday that he and his girlfriend Anna Hansen are expecting another baby; and for the time being they are calling it “Cinco Armstrong” because it’s his 5th child.

6:45 AM: Sandy’s headlines.  Anna Godfrey is a woman living in Nebraska who was called “fat” by a guy, and then proceeded to rip off his ear. An Indiana man who is 18 years old finally met his biological Grandmother, and they said they felt an instant attraction to one another. She is in her late 60’s and they are in a relationship and are going to have a baby together via a surrogate mother.  America’s 5 most polluted cities are ALL in the state of California, and Houston is in the top 10 most polluted cities. Happy Birthday today to Kirsten Dunst, Burt Young (from the Rocky Movies), Willie Nelson (77), and Cloris Leachman.

7:00 AM: Cecily Knobler is on the show every Friday to review the most recent film releases. Nightmare on Elm Street (a re-imagined version of the original) is out and Cecily said it wasn’t great. D-. Furry Vengeance is the worse of the two releases today according to Cecily, and she says do NOT see it. F.

7:10 AM: Alex’s week in review is every Friday and is all of the best and funniest moments from the week edited together.

7:23 AM: We replay yesterday’s interview with actor Andy Garcia.

7:30 AM: Four things you need to know with Sara. Sara wants everyone to check out her blog for a hot pic of Jake Gyllenhaal’s abs. Courtney Love is thinking about selling the remaining rights she has to the Nirvana catalogue of music. She originally sold 1.4 of it for 50 million dollars. Conan O’Brien hasn’t been allowed to talk about the feud with Leno until now, due to his contract. He spoke out and said if he was in Jay’s situation he wouldn’t have done what Jay did to him. Tiger Woods has slept with 121 women since he has been married to his wife Elin.

8:10 AM:  Alex knows some rumors about ACL Festival this year and wanted to spill the beans about what he’s heard. He claims the following bands are confirmed acts for this year; The Flaming Lips, Phoenix, Muse, Pat Green, and Blues Traveler. Rumored acts include; Ryan Bingham, Soundgarden, Green Day, and The Eagles.

8:20 AM: We talk to Shannon, the mother of a 10 year old boy that was the result of a one-night stand. She is currently a single mom and never told the father of her son that a pregnancy resulted from their one night together.  She is trying to decide if she should contact him or not and tell him that he has a son. She found him on Facebook and found out he is married with kids and lives in Houston. Shannon is terminally ill and is wondering what she should do in this situation.
