It’s Halloween.  Eat what you want.  It’s like free pass day!  BUT if you still want to worry about fat and calories on Halloween, here is a list of the best and worst Halloween candies for your health.  It’s a list created by MyHealthNewsDaily based on the fat and sugar content of 37 of the most popular Halloween treats.  Now if someone could finally figure out how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop……..

The best

1. Jolly Ranchers: Three of these have 70 calories, no fat and 11 grams of sugar. That’s about as healthy as it’s going to get when it comes to candy.

2. Blow Pops:  60 calories, no fat and 13 grams of sugar.  And you get candy AND gum!  awesome.

3. Gobstoppers: Nine pieces have 60 calories, no fat and 14 grams of sugar.  And they’re everlasting.

4. Pixy Stix:  A personal favorite of mine.  Seven straws contain 60 calories, 0 grams of fat and 15 grams of sugar. And you get a cool colored tongue pretty quickly.

5. Candy corn: These are gross.  But, Nineteen pieces has only 140 calories, no fat and 32 grams of sugar.

The worst (and of course the best tasting candy ends up on this list)

1. Mr. Goodbar: A 49-gram Mr. Goodbar will cost you 250 calories, 17 grams of fat (including seven grams of saturated fat) and 23 grams of sugar.

2. NutRageous: A 51-gram NutRageous bar, is 260 calories, contains 16 grams of fat (including five grams of saturated fat) and 22 grams of sugar.

3. Snickers: Snickers is satisfying..for a reason.  A 59-gram bar has 280 calories, 14 grams of fat — (including five grams of saturated fat) and 30 grams of sugar.

4. Baby Ruth: A 60-gram bar has 280 calories, 14 grams of fat (including 8 grams of saturated fat). It also has 33 grams of sugar.

5. Mounds:  A 49 gram bar has 230 calories, 13 grams of fat and 21 grams of sugar. It has 10 grams of saturated fat, the most of any of the 37 surveyed candies.

(Halloween 2005)
Ted & I the past  6 or so years have made it a tradition to go see the newest ‘SAW’ movie.
Ever since we went to SAW 1, which really freaked me out. As the SAW’s have gone
on, they have gotten a bit ridiculus, but Jigsaw’s will for ‘Gore’ still prevails, even beyond
the grave.   So Sunday after we have dinner at Sonic, we are going to see
‘THE FINAL CHAPTER-SAW 3-D’!!

(Summer of 2010)

Looks pretty Freaky!

with what the ‘SAW JOURNEY 1-5′
is known for!!
 If you don’t like Gore
and Scary things. DON’T CLICK!
(Mature audience material)
