Yes, I’m probably too old to be watching Yo Gabba Gabba and not have kids of my own..but I love it! I even went to YGG Live at the Cedar Park center alone (yes I was the creepy person there without a kid), and thankfully a listener spotted me and let me hold their baby for the whole 2nd half of the show!

So then, I was at the mall this week and I walked by the window of my favorite place to buy shoes–the Vans Store and LOOK what I saw in the window (in adult sizes mind you)

As if my Yo Gabba Gabba love couldn’t get any stronger, they had to go and make YGG versions of my favorite brand of shoes. I love them–especially the Muno one (he’s the red guy)

Then yesterday for Halloween, they did the cutest thing…..they made this sweet little video of the YGG characters doing the thriller dance. Hilarious.

For those of you who, like me, have issues falling asleep or staying asleep, I have something to tell you! There’s a new line of drinks on the market, called NEURO Drinks, and they not only taste great and have low to zero calories, but they are functional too! I have tried all of the flavors and really like the way they taste, and I like the low calorie count in them…..but I fell head over heels in LOVE when I tried the Neuro Sleep.

Our listeners are great, and have given me SO many suggestions for my continual sleep issues. I’ve tried chamomile tea, lavender spray, melatonin pills, melatonin spray, ambien, tylenol pm, nyquil….and even an anti anxiety medication…all in the quest to fall asleep and stay asleep….but nothing has worked!

I tried the Neuro drinks at the Austin Fashion Week Kick off party, and loved the Neuro Bliss, a drink to help calm you down. I wanted to try the Neuro Sleep but was skeptical, since nothing seems to really work for me. But, low and behold, it worked! It worked so well I didn’t wake up even once that first night….which is quite a huge thing for me because I usually wake up once an hour throughout the night. Now Neuro Sleep is in my bedtime routine and I haven’t had a sleepless night since! Now that’s something I can raise a glass to! (You can find the drinks at Randall’s, Walgreen’s, CVS, 7-11…and a lot of local gas stations. Check the website for a location close to your house)

Baby has pretty good taste in men!

I am hooked on Pinterest lately, and saw a story about a woman celebrating her birthday in a unique way. Instead of asking for gifts, or throwing a party, she decided to do 38 random acts of kindness for others, one for eah year she’d been alive. It’s a brilliant idea, and I was really moved when I read all the things she did.

A haunted house called Nightmares Factory in Niagra Falls Canada has done something pretty clever. They have started taking pictures of people at the scariest moment in their haunted house and they post them online. The pictures are so funny….click the link below the photo to check out more.

Looks like Denny’s is trying to become known as the “novelty sandwich place” lately. First they came out with a sandwich that had mozzerella sticks on it, and now they’ve created the Mac ‘n Cheese Big Daddy Patty Melt….sounds good?
